As you may know, the course at Ross Bridge is a stop on the RTJ Golf Trail. This course reflects the traditional styles of golf course design, and is easily one of the most beautiful to play. It is also the newest addition to the Trail and is a favorite amongst residents. As one of the longest courses in the world, it challenges golfers with all levels of experience.
The RTJ Golf Trail has been nothing short of a miracle for Alabama’s hospitality and tourism industry. Before the trail opened, Alabama had less than $2 billion in tourism revenue. Last year, revenues were over $10.6 billion – much thanks to the Trail.
Could there be any ‘tourist attraction’ as great as this one? It’s something that draws in national and international crowds, but also appeals to the locals. And, not only has it established Alabama as a golfing destination, but it has also set our state apart as a desirable place to live.
We have all types of residents in Ross Bridge, and many share the love for golf. Living this close to such a special part of Alabama’s golf culture is truly an extraordinary experience. The course is complimented by the Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa and by the sprawling surrounding neighborhoods. The new homes offered in our community are in classic country club style, with many different homes to choose from. The community’s amenities are equally as impressive, defining the resort lifestyle.
It’s clear the introduction of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail has been a huge success and helped to make Alabama the golfer’s dream it is today. Living in Ross Bridge is a great way to enjoy one of the greatest things about our state!
