Birmingham Ranks as Most Exciting Place in Alabama

One of the best aspects of being a Ross Bridge residents is our ideal location in Birmingham’s largest metro of Hoover. While there’s plenty of fun to be had within our community, being only a short drive from bustling Birmingham means that Ross Bridge residents can enjoy all the perks of the Birmingham lifestyle, while also enjoying the privacy and amenities of a resort community.

Popular real estate website Movoto recently ranked the most exciting places in Alabama, and not surprisingly, Birmingham topped the list at number one! Movoto ranked cities in Alabama with populations of 10,000 or more – 64 cities in total – and used the following criteria to judge the excitement of each area: nightlife venues; active life options, such as parks; live music venues; arts and entertainment options; percentage of young residents ages 18 to 34; population density; fast food restaurants (the fewer the better); and percentage of non-fast food restaurants (the higher the better).

·  With its exciting bar and restaurant scene, it’s no wonder Birmingham received the best score for nightlife venues! Being home to more nightlife per capita than anywhere else in the state has its advantage – if you’re going out in Birmingham, you can rest assured that there will never be a shortage of fun! And there’s no end in sight to this exciting boom of nightlife venues with the continuation of the revitalization of downtown Birmingham.

· Anyone who has visited Birmingham knows that arts, entertainment and music venues are abound in the Iron City, and the rankings from Movoto prove it! Birmingham ranked fourth out of all cities for its arts and entertainment options per capita, as well as for number of music venues.

· All the outdoor opportunities to enjoy the beauty of Birmingham put the city as number eight on the list for active life amenities.

· According to Movoto, 28% of Birmingham’s population is between the ages of 18 and 34 – making it the seventh youngest city on the list of most exciting places in Alabama – and the city has one of the highest population densities of cities ranked.

Birmingham, with its population of over 212,000, is the largest city in Alabama – and clearly, the most exciting as well! At Ross Bridge, we wouldn’t choose to be anywhere else in Alabama than in the Birmingham metro. In addition to being located in the metro area of the most exciting city in the state, Ross Bridge residents enjoy plenty of other benefits – including beautiful newly built homes in our three distinctive neighborhoods and an opportunity to enjoy one of the best golf courses in the country with a stop on the legendary  Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail right in our backyards.
