Join us Saturday July 16 at the Ross Bridge Welcome Center lawn from 8am – noon for this week's Fresh Market. Fresh local fruits, veggies and baked goods fill the market, as well as live music and activities for the kids. Bring your old electronics as well, there will be vendors accepting them as part of the "Hoover Goes Green" recycling event.
The event is FREE to attend, with music by Peanut, and plenty for the kids to do.
To help people responsibly get rid of old (and potentially environmentally harmful items)"Hoover Goes Green" will also have the following:
-Works by artists which were made entirely from recycled items, as well as displays and tips on how to recycle and repurpose used materials.
-Bring your old PCs, kitchen appliances and printers to the event! Technical KnockOut will be accepting all items (except TVs) to be recycled. Cellphonebank.org will also have representatives accepting used cell phones to be donated to others in need.
-Free emissions testing! Bring your vehicle and receive a voucher for repairs and upgrades.
