Santa vs. the Snowman IMAX Show – through 12/26/13 Looking for an activity to take your kids to while school’s out? The McWane Science Center presents Santa vs. the Snowman in their IMAX Theater. Grand River on Ice – through 1/5/14 What would the holidays be without a visit to an ice rink under the stars? Through January 5, at the Outlet Shops of Grand River, there will be an ice rink complete with skaters, holiday lights, and Christmas music. Admission is $10 and includes skate rental. Wacky Tacky Christmas Light Tour – 12/17/13 Join the Fresh Air Family on a one-hour bus tour exploring all types of tacky in Christmas light décor. The tour will leave from Avondale Brewing Company and visit well-known stops like the Hanukkah House and Santa’s Trailer Park. Make sure to wear your favorite tacky outfit! Happy Holidays at Railroad Park presented by the Mayor – 12/21/13 Join Mayor William A. Bell, Sr. as he presents the ceremonial tree lighting and holiday event at the Railroad Park. The event begins
at 3pm and will feature carnival games, live music, and George’s Boxcar Café with tasty holiday treats. This event is free and open to the public, for more information visit
