Spring 2014 is the Time to Buy!

Common knowledge tells us that the spring season is the best time to buy a new home.  While this is still true, both the housing market and the economy have seen an incredible overhaul in the past decade alone.  These changes have altered the way home shoppers look for, decide on, and ultimately, buy their new homes.

Many of the same housing trends will continue like they have in year’s past, but there’s no doubt that new shopping patterns will be evident.  This year, with the impressive recovery still hot on the minds of many, the market is expected to be buzzing with new activity.  Increases in home prices and competition can be expected across numerous major markets.

It might not be spring yet, but that won’t stop eager shoppers from hitting the market early!  Last December, Forbes published an article titled “Why Wait for Spring?” in regards to home shopping.  The article detailed why it could be smart to buy a home this winter, before the warmer months.  Since then, it has been clear that home shoppers can benefit greatly from house hunting earlier than the traditional season.  Spring is still an incredible time to buy, but it could be more beneficial to start now!

By jumping in the market earlier than others, homebuyers can save themselves time and money.  With fewer shoppers saturating the current market, there’s less competition and more homes available.  Home shoppers can take their time and find a home that’s truly right for them. And, once they’ve found the right home, the buying process itself could be less of headache.  Starting the paperwork sooner means moving into their new home sooner!

With massive improvements in the Birmingham market, as well as the national housing market, it would be a shame not to take advantage of these incredible economic conditions.  And, if you’ve been eyeing a new home in a golf resort community, look no further than Ross Bridge!

Our unique and diverse community features three neighborhoods all with varying home designs and floor plans available.  Community amenities rival that of royalty with multiple pools, walking trails, historic parks and the luxurious Marriott Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa set as the centerpiece.  And, maybe most remarkable is our Ross Bridge Golf Course, a stop on the world-famous Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.  Who knew this incredible gem of a community was tucked away just outside the thriving city of Birmingham?  Beat the competition and enter the market early – you deserve to find the home of your dreams!
